Italian design:
The shooting stars of the Italian design scene, architects and designers Ludovica and Roberto Palomba have made an international name for themselves.

Ludovica and Roberto Palomba are famous for their unconventional bathroom, kitchen, and living area designs. The couple shot to stardom in the Italian design scene with their work for brands such as Moroso, Poltrona Frau, Cappelini and Boffi. In addition, they also design for architectural projects, create sets for stages and plan exhibitions. Their unusual designs result from the combination of their feel for architecture, lifestyle and industrial objects. Ludovica Serafini and Roberto Palomba studied architecture at Rome University. They have worked together as partners since 1994 and are co-founders of the company Palomba Serafini Associati (ps+a). The company is based in Milan.

The “Palomba Collection” is the couple’s first bathroom project for LAUFEN. The boundaries between masculine and feminine forms become blurred within the designs in this collection of bathroom ceramics, accessories, and furniture. Ludovica and Roberto Paloma describe this concept as the “fingerprint of nature.” This is now a feature of the style of both designers who prove here as well as in other design projects that they are equal partners with neither dominating the other. Items from the “Palomba Collection” have won several design awards including the Red Dot Award, the iF DESIGN AWARD and the Design Plus label.
