Founded in Neuveville, Switzerland, in 1991 by Aurel Aebi, Armand Louis and Patrick Reymond, atelier oï has been dissolving barriers between genres and fostering cross-disciplinary creativity for 20 years. Over the course of their achievements, architecture, design and set design have intertwined on an international scale. Multidisciplinary team spirit and an intimate connection with the material are the trademarks of their design. Born of an intuitive and emotional affinity with the act of shaping different materials, their projects have been recognized the world over. Kudos include winning the European 3, 1994, European Museum of the Year Award, 2001, iF DESIGN AWARD 2012, Living at Home Award, 2007 and Product of the Year, Architectural Record, 2008.
Between experimentation, cultural exchanges and events devoted to their creations, they design for Wogg, Roethlisberger, USM, B&B Italia, Foscarini, Bulgari, Bréguet, Swatch, Moroso and Louis Vuitton.
